What month is it again?
March 28, 2008I did not believe the weather when I saw snow predicted for last night…I was wrong. What’s the deal? It’s almost APRIL!!
This weekend marks the end of my March Madness Marathon. I am driving to Syracuse tonight for an Arbonne event, then back to my house for another tomorrow morning. This is the last weekend that I take a whirlwind trip alone…the last week I’m busy every weeknight…you get the idea.
As for April, I have a lot to look forward to. First of all, I plan on sleeping more. I also look forward to three free weekends, a trip to the Newport Coast in Cali with my hubby and lots of good friends, and a little trip for work in Vegas. Not that I’m overly excited about flying into Vegas four months pregnant on a Tuesday, having non-stop meetings and flying back Thursday, but it’s a nice break of routine. Plus, I’ve never been so I want to see what all the hype is about. As far as anything “staying in Vegas,” I fear that the extent of any escapades I may encounter will probably be me sitting in front of a slot machine with ten bucks sipping a shirley temple in a maternity top. Sounds scandalous, I know.
Farewell March. April, I welcome you with open arms. Don’t let me down.
Enjoy Vegas…you can sit at those penny slots for HOURS with 10 bucks…Enjoy…it’s an amazing place to people watch.
Hey Libby! If you get the opportunity, you have to see a fountain show in front of the Bellagio. I’m sure you’ll only be free at night - but that really is the best time to see them. Also, Vegas in April is REALLY warmer than you think it will be. When we were married there in February ‘04 the temp was about 80 degrees everyday. Don’t be surprised if it hits 95 when you’re there, so be sure to prepare yourself for that clothes-wise. Other than that, have a great time!! Oh, also, don’t be surprised if you want to go back the second you leave. It happened to me. Vegas always leaves you wanting more. :o)
You’re quite the jet-setter, Libby.
Enjoy your extra sleep, trips, and all that. I agree about the weather too…it’s even cold here in the South. Today’s high was 48 degrees. Yikes!
Marti - I will keep that in mind, thanks!
Tiffiny - I will definitely try to get to the Bellagio, that sounds awesome, thanks!
Heather - What happened to your sunny 70’s? I guess I feel a little better that you guys are suffering too
