I love New York! This was a much better experience in the Big Apple than I’ve had in a while. Probably because I was with someone who lives there and we knew what the heck we were doing and where we were going. Also probably because it was mostly free. (Thanks Mom!)

When I got to Grand Central Station Friday night my only job was to take a cab to the hotel. It was pouring, I had all my luggage and no umbrella. There were no cabs to be found. I walked the whole way and thanks to the kindness of strangers I made it…eventually…soaking wet.

Wicked was amazing. Clever, funny, and extremely well done.
-
I almost blew away on the streets of NY walking home from the theater. Literally.

Got a $30 Mani-Pedi at Caroline’s little nail salon (where all her best friends are). Why I don’t pamper myself more with these things is beyond me. It was the best $30 my mom spent all weekend

Until last night I had never had a migraine before. I think I had one. It sucked. I wanted to die. And throw up. I think I still have remnants of it today - sucks.

I think I could live in New York for a little while - IF there was no such thing as winter.
