Sadness
April 17, 2007With all the excitement of my new adventure, I forgot to anticipate that I was going to be really sad to leave my job. And guess what, I am! Thursday is my last day and I am becoming extremely nostalgic. This is the last time I’ll have this meeting…this is the last time I’ll go to lunch with this crew…this is the last time I’ll order office supplies…you know how it is! Fortunately the stress of wrapping things up is keeping my mind occupied, but this is still really sad!

Take if from a guy who changes jobs almost as fast as the seasons change, the sadness is tough for the first few days and will soon to be replaced by the newness of doing different things, meeting new peeps and generally getting immersed (buried) in the new thing. Good luck with the “sales” gig, I am sure you will be good at it. Looking forward to hearing more about what you are going to be doing.
Dude- so I love how I know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about your life these days. It makes me sad. What is this new job?? Where are you working?? Call me soon please!
